Has potential but needs more effective management and food choices or to significantly lower their prices.

We have stayed here multiple times but this time is likely our last. The rooms are HUGE (some of the largest we have ever seen). The bar and restaurant staff are fantastic ( a shoutout to Geraldo, Pedro, Angel, Hernan, and Christian). They were awesome-very attentive and friendly. The pool table is essentially the only thing to do outside of the pool on the property and I constantly had to ask them to turn on the lights in this area.

There’s minimal access to the beach. The doors are closed way too early (usually by 7 PM). We wanted to walk on the beach to see the full moon and had to ask for the doors to be opened. We are a family of five. I had asked the month earlier (during a previous stay) if we could house our adult son in our room with us instead of paying for a double occupancy room. Christian (desk manager) said “yes”, but when we arrived, he charged full price for the extra room (supposedly due to a “policy change” that was counter to our previous conversation). The management seems to be in flux and the learning curve is not working well for patrons. Lots of hazardous construction going on impacting stairwell and pathway lighting from the rooms to dining and etc.. The handyman was the hardest worker there. They also had a new cook. He’s a super nice guy but struggled with the meals and the menu kept repeating. The meals were not as described (said potatoes, mushrooms, or spinach and would come out with no mushrooms, the same vegetable, and rice instead) on the menu and extremely inconsistent. Breakfast was okay. The poolside food was simple but not many choices. This isn’t great for an all inclusive with only two restaurant options. Each have minimal hours. Many areas are in need of serious repairs.

Small well situated resort. All ocean front rooms. Next to beautiful beach you could walk for kilometers.

Under renovation. pool tub in our room not functioning. Only one restaurant.

Good food—well presented—menu changed daily—good waiter. Would choose a room on upper floors if we return.

Room was not cleaned—mgr stated they had a staff problem.

A rip off at their original price

Staff was very friendly. it was not busy when we stayed there, right on the seafront. it was just good enough value for money at a major discount we received

extremely run down, needed urgent refreshement and rapair (which they are doing). luckaly we had a BIG discount otherwise it would have been a big mistake to book this hotel. at their original rate it would have been a rip off

Nice, but somewhat disappointing stay

Must request room cleaning each day. Too few towels. Scant water flow in second bathroom sink. Breakfast food bar no longer offered,. Slow restaurant service. Menu somewhat limited. Although "all inclusive," to have a bottle of wine instead of a glass, at least in your room, you have to pay for it. Disappointing that the former clothing optional area is no longer designated as such and jacuzzis there were drained.

Great value and beautiful views!

The room is HUGE—the largest we have ever had (and we've traveled to many places). The views are spectacular from every room, whether you prefer gazing across the pool or from upon high. The infinity pool is extremely large and very clean. The bed is comfortable and not as hard as many we've encountered in Mexico. Snacks are fun while relaxing at the pool. The staff is friendly and efficient. Parking is available on-site. We are repeat customers and will choose to stay again.

The restaurant hours are odd. The bar closes too early (10 pm), and there is a gap of time (between 5-6 pm, if I remember correctly) when you can't get any food at all at the resort. Coffee should be available 24/7 but is not especially for early risers in the morning who have to wait for the restaurant to open for their morning joe. Overall, the food is pretty to look at but not as much flavor as you would expect for Mexico where even the street food is amazing.

Location is a bit of a pain. It’s in between two towns but neither is walking distance. Wasn’t too much of a problem but you have to get taxis if you want to go anywhere (25/30 dollars to nearest towns) and it was hard to find a chichen itza trip that would pick us up. When we did find one we had to be picked up first and dropped off last so it made the day a lot longer. Possibly better to go private if you can afford it

Good place to stay but should be GREAT! Would try it again.

The setting is spectacular. The room is extremely spacious (one of the largest we have ever stayed in). The design lends itself to privacy (which we really appreciate). The room was comfortable and well adorned. This resort should be one of the top resorts in the boutique category of all inclusives but it falls a bit short in attention to detail. Would recommend for a quiet couples location. The alto saxophone player on Friday night was talented and fun.

Some of the furniture is worn and a bit dated. Only one of our two sinks in the bathroom actually worked. The breakfast hours are later than expected and the bar closes too early (10:30 PM including weekends). We asked for a coffee maker because we are early risers. It was immediately delivered to our room but no coffee cups were available rendering the request useless. The staff gets an “A” for effort but lacks the polish and training necessary for a top notch resort. No one wants to be called “lady”, don’t pretend to understand or speak English if you don’t, please let me finish my food before you clear my plate, always serve food from only one side, use a towel or cloth around the water pitcher (my husband and I were both soaked from the drips). All the food lacked flavor and needed lots of salt and pepper. It took too long for the canned beers to be replenished in the room. Draft beer from the bars is fine but there should be some lighter options. The pool restaurant didn’t seem to serve any “fresh” food. All tasted as if it had been frozen premade food. I wanted to spend just a little of time with the kitchen staff in both restaurants because just a few tweaks and the food would be so much better. It’s Mexico, don’t hold back on the flavors!

Nice resort with pretty beach

The view was beautiful. The room was really nice and big. Definitely couples only - the art and decor is risque. Nice resort for 1 night.

The food was meh - the "free breakfast" was very minimal and the rest of breakfast you had to pay for. The hot water handle on our tub was broken.

The location is amazing if you are looking for peace and quiet, which was exactly what we were looking for. The food was amazing and so were the drinks (ask for extra liquor and please tip!!! The personnel was amazing and always willing to go the extra mile.to make your experience there amazing). The room was huge!!! and the bed was so comfy.

We did not have any issue with our room but the hotel needs some love and care. Some repairs are needed but it was overall clean. Food & bev service ends at 10pm which sucks because there's no time for a Patron shot!!

Great relaxing stay with some quirks.

Staff was great. Location was great. Food was great. Beach was great- no kids adults only- fantastic. Location from shopping was about a 35$ cab ride.

Hot tubs upstairs were not usable. Drinks were not as potent as I remember. The tipping is weird.
